France is the most straightforward European move from London. The London end is the part we obsess over — a collection timed around your street, your building and the capital’s loading constraints, day or night — and from there the route is simple: the M20 down to the coast, Dover or the Eurotunnel shuttle across to Calais, and the French autoroute network out to your destination. Paris is a short onward leg; Lyon and the Rhône valley are a clean motorway run; the Riviera and Provence are the long, sunlit tail of the route.
